Double ka Meetha

Ingredients-

  1.  Bread Slices - 4
  2. Oil - 1/2 cup
  3. Ghee -  1/3 cup
  4. Chopped Almonds/ Cashews - 2 tbsp
  5. Milk- 500 mL
  6. Green Cardamom - 1 no.
  7. Sugar - 2 cup
  8. Water - 2 cup

Method-

  1. Cut the Bread Slices into quarters.
  2.  Add the Cardamom to the milk and let it simmer till it reduces to half and you get a thick consistency.
  3. Make sugar syrup.
  4. Fry the Bread Slices in the Oil/Ghee Mixture till they are crispy and golden brown.
  5. Let the Bread SLices, Sugar SYrup and Reduced Milk cool down.
  6. Grease a Baking Tray.
  7. Dip the Bread Slices in the Syrup first and then in the reduced milk and arrange on the tray.
  8. Add slices Almonds/ cashew on the top.
  9. BAke at 180 degree Celsius for 10 mins.
