  Chicken Malai Tikka


Ingredients-

  1. Chicken-150 g
  2. Cream/Malai- 4 tbsp
  3. Ginger-Garlic Paste- 2 tbsp
  4. Chillies- 4 no.
  5. Oil-2 tsp
  6. Salt- As required
  7. Turmeric-1 tsp
  8. Coriander Powder-1 tsp
  9. Chilli Powder(optional)-1 tsp


Method-

  1. Wash and clean the chicken pieces.
  2. Add salt, turmeric powder, lemon juice and oil to the chicken and mix well.
  3. In another bowl, take Cream, add chopped chillies, coriander powder, chilli powder and mix well.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to this mixture and leave it for a minimum of 2 hours.
  5. Preheat the Oven at 200 degree Celsius.
  6. Brush the Griller with Oil.
  7. Place the Chicken Pieces on the Griller and let it cook at 200 degree celsius for 15 minutes.
  8. After 15 minutes, turn the chicken pieces and grill it again for 15 minutes.
  9. Insert a knife to check if the chicken pieces are cooked. If you see juices coming out when you insert a knife is an indication that your chicken is properly cooked.
  10. Serve it with Green Chutney and Onion Slices.

Things to keep in mind while making Chicken Malai Tikka

  • You can also use an oven to make these Malai Tikkas, but the taste might differ.
  • Marinating the Chicken Pieces overnight gives the best taste.
